Process of smile makeover
Clinical and x-ray examination
A comprehensive review of teeth, gums and bite is carried out by our cosmetic dentist.
Any gum diseases must be treated first and good oral hygiene must be maintained. If there is any bite problem, this must be corrected first prior to cosmetic procedures.
Smile makeover preview.
An important part of smile makeover process is our cosmetic dentist’s ability to give you a preview of the final smile makeover outcome even before any treatment procedure is carried out. The preview may be in the form of:
1) Before and after photos.
In our clinic, all our smile makeover cases are well documented with before and after pictures. This preview will allow the patient to understand the treatment process and to assess the quality of our cosmetic dentistry.
2)Diagnostic wax up
We will take a mold of your teeth and with the study models, our dental technician will do a mock up to show you the final result of the cosmetic procedures. When you are fully comfortable with the wax mockup, we will then proceed with the cosmetic treatment.
3)Composite mockup.
Sometimes our cosmetic dentist will do some temporary bonding on your teeth. This will give a good 3 dimensional visualization of the final cosmetic outcome.
