Crown Lengthening

In the patient on the left the gummy smile is due to excessive gum tissues. The gum is numbed with local anaesthetic and the excess gum tissues is removed . This minor procedure is quick and painless and gives good aesthetic results. With proper planning and treatment by our periodontist ( gum specialist ), the aesthetic results should be long lasting . Orthodontics or Braces

For the patient on the left the underlying cause is due to the upper front teeth set too far forward . Braces by our specialist orthodontist, is the best option to push the protruding teeth back to its normal position. One the protruding teeth is corrected, the gummy smile will be much less prominent as the upper lip can close better.

Dental veneers and dental crowns.
